Daughter of Flowers grows specialty cut flowers and runs a small design studio in Cumberland, a small community on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Founder Camille Vittery has an ecletic background in agriculture. She grew up on a small farm in Oregon and has worked on organic farms in Hawaii, California, and British Columbia. Before moving to Vancouver Island to be with her partner, she worked as a wrangler on a large horse ranch in Washington state. Growing flowers is a natural extension of her time spent in agriculture & the outdoor realm.
Camille’s design work draws influence from the variations seen in the natural world; overgrown and forgotten gardens, natural light, shifting seasons, shadows, and negative space.
